Training Program Details:
This role requires a mandatory training period before placement:

Duration: 1 Month (Online)

Training Fees: ₹35,000 + GST

• Business Unit: Gold Loan

• Role: Relationship Officer (Sales & Operations)

• Primary Focus: Customer Acquisition, Gold Valuation Support, and Loan Servicing

1. Business Development & Sourcing

• Lead Generation: Identify potential customers through field visits, cold calling, community outreach, and networking.

• Market Intelligence: Stay updated on competitor gold loan rates and schemes to pitch effectively.

• Direct Sales: Convert walk-in customers and referrals into active gold loan accounts.

2. Loan Processing & Documentation

• KYC Verification: Collect and verify all required KYC documents as per RBI and bank guidelines.

• Gold Valuation Coordination: Assist the internal or third-party valuer in checking the purity and weight of the gold.

• Application Management: Ensure error-free data entry into the banking system for swift loan disbursal.

3. Portfolio Management & Cross-Selling

• Customer Retention: Build long-term relationships to encourage loan renewals and top-ups.

• Cross-Selling: Introduce gold loan customers to other bank products like Savings Accounts, Fixed Deposits, and Insurance.

• Collections: Monitor repayments and follow up with customers for timely interest payments to minimize delinquencies.

4. Compliance & Operations

• Adherence to Norms: Ensure every transaction follows internal security protocols and RBI regulations.

• Gold Handling: Assist in the secure storage of pledged gold in bank vaults and maintain accurate record-keeping.

Tech Skills: Basic knowledge of MS Excel, email, and banking software.
Travel: Must be willing to travel locally for customer sourcing (Two-wheeler is usually mandatory).
Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, high integrity, and professional grooming.
